Let’s talk about this new show

Ok, so first off, I loved the artistry of her coming out of the bag. I don’t know why, it was just beautiful the way she stretched her arm out of the bag…

The I got a little confused when they cut directly to a house with chained up girls, wasn’t sure what was happening until I saw Agent Wellers face – and only because I have seen his face in the promos for the show. I didn’t realize it was the same show at first. I get they were trying to establish his character, but I think it was the presentation that confused me.

Other than that part, I thought it was a good pilot episode. There is a lot of mystery, which I love, and crime fighting, which I also tend to gravitate toward. I’m liking the cast, not too sure about the characters yet… I think we need to spend a little more time with them because we only got to know the two main characters mostly in this first episode.

At the end of the episode we get little flashes of Jane’s past, which are already very telling, but the mystery of they how, why, and who are very alive and could take a lot of time to uncover – which isn’t a bad thing. I say, as long as they give us some answers on a periodic basis I will be happy.

The guy that she [briefly] remembers is definitely a part of everything. Her character seems so good, and he seems so villainy – so I’m very curious what that’s about.

Let me just say, Jamie Alexander’s [Jane] giant green eyes are amazing.

Before I even watched the pilot I felt there had to be a sci-fi element to the show…I mean nothing else would make sense. There has to be some type of sci-fi thing going on for this to make any kind of sense. Some technology, or something… I don’t know.

I will be tuning in for more.
